Swimming Lesson Helpful Hints:
• On the first day of lessons, the instructor may test your children to see if they are in the appropriate level. To guarantee everyone’s success, we may reorganize classes.
• Please keep children away from the pool edge before and after their lessons.
• Please encourage your children to walk at all times.
• You are welcome to watch your child’s lessons, however, please observe from a distance to avoid distracting the students.
• To help your child’s skills improve, take them swimming during open swim hours.
• Children progress at different levels. It is common for children to repeat the same level several times.
• If your child has special needs, please inform the pool manager or instructor.
• If it is cold and/or raining, lessons will NOT be cancelled. Lessons will only be cancelled if there is lightening in the area.
• If we cancel lessons, a make up lesson or adjustment may be made. No make up lessons will be offered for personal absences.
• Because our classes fill up quickly, please consider registering for the next session. Your instructor or pool manager can recommend the appropriate level for your swimmer.
• We will try to accommodate requests for specific instructors; however, it may not be possible.
• If you miss the last day of class, your child’s report card will be in the pool office.
